World class surfing awaits you at the last frontier on earth! Cleanest waters on the planet are home to the knurliest, grinding swells direct from the South Pole!! These waters are untouched and the waves go unridden most of the year!! Surf right hand Super tubes or go and surf Leo's Island, a big hollow left!! Surfing season is from May to September. Mills Charters boat and tender can take surfers to one of the best Indian Ocean island surfing spots in Western Australia.
Marine habitats
The Abrolhos Islands lie in the overlap zone of tropical and temperate waters. The extensive coral reef and microalgae communities offer visitors an array of snorkeling and diving sites and experiences. The diversity of marine life includes colorful fish, anemone communities, brain coral lumps, mixed algal and coral reefs, sea grass meadows and sandy areas where shoaling fish congregate.
Recreation
The Abrolhos provides some of the best snorkeling, diving and deep sea fishing in the world, along with some of Australia's most significant historical sites, such as the shipwreck of the Batavia. Although an important tourist destination, the tourists are not allowed to stay overnight.
